LGMH

What's going on in my life: My sister updated my itouch for me, took forever, but she added a new app called LGMH.  It was a cute little pink icon, and I opened it.  There was a little cute story, and at the end it said LGMH.  I asked her what that meant, and she said LOVE GIVES ME HOPE.  Over the past few days I have read through over 300 of the stories.  They are so inspirational, and they really do give me hope for the future.  Although I am single at the moment, I live a very full and blessed life.  The story below was the most hopeful thing I read.

Think about this: that one person that you are going to fall in love with and marry one day is walking the earth this very second.  That little fact should give you hope each day knowing that some body, somewhere is completely in love with you, even if you both dont know it yet.

I'm heading to a Younglife camp as a leader in a few days.  I found this verse that reminded me to just be content with who I am and know God is in control.  I cannot wait to see how He works in big ways this next week.

You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. -Matthew 5:5

Much love.

Good Day

What's happening in my life: Graduation brings about change and new beginnings and endings.  Crazy to think how quickly time flies by!  Today we went and walked around downtown and discovered this cute sign in Starbucks.  A good reminder. :)

What I'm purchasing: While we were downtown I found some other treasures that I could not pass up buying.  My favorite color right now is MINT!  Anything and everything.  So I found this washi tape for $4 and this cute pen for $7.  The pen has a whale and an anchor on it.  Adorable.

These stickers of birds and owls was only $3.  Now I need to get some inspiration and start using all these new materials!

These earrings were only $10.

What I'm reading: With high school graduation coming up for people and time slipping away I found a quote from a book I'm reading.  The book is by a Portland author, Donald Miller.  It is called Through Painted Deserts and it is all about leaving.  "Everybody has to change, or they expire.  Everybody has to leave, everybody has to leave their home and come back so they can love it again for all new reasons."  I'm also reading Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage.  I love being able to have time to actually read over the summer!

What are your exciting summer plans?  What are you reading?  Shopping for?  Creating?  Here's to a creative summer filled with memories we'll never forget...

Much love.
